Terri KempthorneI have been working at LES since August, 2013 as one of the instructors in the grades 3-5 Technology specials class. This year, my role has shifted away from direct classroom instruction and become more focused on helping both staff and students find ways to better integrate technology into their daily classroom routines. The teachers and staff here at LES have come to depend on me for many of their technology needs and questions over the years, and this change in my position better affords me the opportunity to work more collaboratively with them.
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a strong technological background, and have worked with children in classroom settings for more than 11 years. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Douglas, and our youngest daughter is finishing her schooling at Marlington High School. When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading books, and being outdoors with my family whether we are rock climbing, skiing, hiking, biking, camping, or relaxing on a warm and sandy beach. I also love traveling with my family and exploring new places. My schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 1:00pm, and my office is located at LES, across from the upstairs music room. Please feel free to stop by and see me, or send me an email if you have any questions! |
Tonda MathieI am so excited to be back in Louisville schools again, but this time as your Technology Integration Coach, instead of as a student or parent! After graduating from Louisville High School, I attended The Ohio State University and obtained my B.S. in Computer Science. I worked full-time in the industry for a few years and then part-time from home for many more years doing computer programming. For the last 8 years, I have been teaching computer courses to senior citizens, so yes - I guess you could say I have a fair amount of patience. I am married to Brian, my high school sweetheart and we have 3 children - Brandon - who just got married in July to his wonderful wife, Kylee; Brooke - who is attending The Ohio State University College of Optometry; and Bryce - who is attending University of Mount Union majoring in marketing and finance and playing basketball. My normal schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for most weeks. Please feel free to drop me an email at any time with your requests for assistance!
